The mark 1 Sonnet fountain pen was introduced in 1983 but has since been superceded by the wide cap band mark 2 which is now in production. Several different varieties and finishes of the Sonnet have been made during the production run including gold and silver plated versions as well as stainless steel and solid silver variant. Sonnets are also available in rollerball and fountain pen varieties. Several different lacquered and painted finishes have appeared from time to time giving a colourful option for purchasers

At the start of 2008 Parker Pens discontinued the original Parker Sonnet Pen design and introduced the Parker Sonnet Refresh with a dlighty updated and honed design. Subtle design differences like 5 feathers instead of 7 feathers on the traditional clip design, and 3 engraved rather than 2 on the barrel differentiate this model.

Prices range from around £20 to hundred of pounds for the more exclusive special edition sonnet pens

All parker sonnet pens come in an exclusive pen box and are provided with a parker pens guarantee.
